I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice and spacious with two queen beds, but lacked some kitchen essentials. The service was absolutely wonderful, especially over the Christmas holiday season. The location was really nice, right across from the marina and close to restaurants. The dining experience was superb, offering a variety of delicious options. Overall, a lovely place to stay with some minor drawbacks.

The service was absolutely wonderful, especially during the Christmas holiday season. The main gentleman running the hotel provided personal and friendly service, even cooking breakfast at a time of our choice.

Staying in the auxiliary wing across the street, I found the hotel to be a cozy spot during my 12-day Ring Road trip. The pub offered a nice selection of steaks and seafood, but the room location was in an old Soviet-like building on the other side, away from the main building featured on the website.

Rooms
7.0
The room in the auxiliary wing was spacious and comfortable, though not in the main building as advertised. It was a bit dated but clean.
Service
6.0
The service was a bit inconsistent; while they promptly addressed our issues, there were moments of discomfort like staff entering without knocking. The numbering system for room and floors was also confusing.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient for exploring the western shore of the peninsula and near the national park, ideal for an overnight stop or activities. However, noise from cars passing by could be heard at times.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent but not exceptional. The continental breakfast was basic, but the bakery across the street compensated with a good variety, especially for pastries.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had standard facilities, nothing extraordinary but functional.

I was initially surprised to find myself staying in an old Soviet-like building across the road instead of the main hotel building shown on the website, but the room was indeed spacious as promised. The hotel is conveniently located with cool shops and restaurants nearby, but the noise from passing cars could be bothersome at times. The service was a bit hit-and-miss, with a staff member entering my room without knocking, but there were pleasant moments like having my hot water flask filled for the day. The dining options were on the simpler side, although there's a bakery just across the street for more variety. Despite these quirks, the value for money was reasonable, and the experience was overall decent.

Rooms

The room provided in the old building was surprisingly spacious, but the Soviet-like vibe was unexpected.
Service
6.0
The service had its ups and downs, with moments of unexpected intrusion but also gestures of kindness.
Location

The location offered easy access to shops and restaurants, but the noise from passing cars could be a drawback.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and a municipal pool. The rooms, although undergoing renovations, were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with essential amenities. The service was a mix of nice gestures but unhelpful encounters. The dining experience was decent, with a simple offering that was acceptable. Overall, the hotel offers value for money, especially considering the great location.

Rooms
9.0
Despite ongoing renovations, my room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities like a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The TV provided entertainment during downtime. The price of $129 Euro was reasonable for the room.
Service
7.0
The service was a bit of a mixed bag. While the check-in and restaurant staff were working hard, there were cases where the service fell short, making it somewhat unhelpful. However, there were nice gestures like filling up my hot water flask for the day.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was ideal for my trip's purpose, with easy access to nearby restaurants and the municipal pool. I appreciated the flexibility in accommodating my very late check-in, late check-out, and extended breakfast service requests.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were acceptable, with a simple offering that did the job. While the food was not outstanding, the homemade desserts were a nice touch. It was a decent dining experience overall.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel's facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay, with everything needed for a short visit. The lobby and restaurant area within the hotel added to the convenience of the stay.
